Job summary

Assurity Trusted Solutions (ATS) is seeking a Product Manager to develop ecosystem products for the maritime sector in Singapore. You will bridge technology and business needs, leverage data-driven insights, and apply agile methodologies to deliver digital products for port operators, shipping lines, and tech partners.

You will drive product strategy, manage lifecycle, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful launches and continuous evolution of maritime digital solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading full software/product development life cycles using Agile Methodology.
• 3+ years of relevant experience as a Product Manager.
• Proven experience in application solution and design.
• Strong understanding of agile software development processes.
• Experience in outsourcing and vendor management.
• Proficient in data analysis and comfortable using analytics tools to drive product decisions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with diverse audiences.
• Understanding of how the Singapore Government operates; maritime sector experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define the vision and strategy for a portfolio of products and services.
• Manage the product lifecycle, from conceptualisation to delivery.
• Manage and review demand priorities, areas of improvement, plan and coordinate development progress to ensure a good product launch and continuous evolution.
• To launch new products and features, test their performance, collect data and user feedback, and iterate constantly and quickly.
• Influence and communicate with cross-functional teams to drive new product development and growth, and build executive relationships.
• Work with the Product Owner, Technical Lead, Business Analysts, UX Designers, Engineers in planning releases.

We are seeking a Product Manager to join our dynamic team to develop ecosystem products for the maritime sector. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between technology and business needs, ensuring that our digital solutions are aligned with stakeholder requirements and contribute to enhancing Singapore's position as a leading global maritime hub. The ideal candidate will leverage data-driven insights and agile methodologies to develop digital products that will be relevant for a range of stakeholders in our maritime ecosystem, which would include our port operators, international shipping lines, technology companies, among others.

The maritime sector in Singapore faces significant challenges, as well as opportunities. It is critical to position Singapore to capture benefits from growing maritime trade, while addressing various challenges including our manpower constraints and global pressures for maritime decarbonisation. This position offers a unique opportunity to enhance Singapore's global positioning as a leading maritime hub by identifying and advancing new value proposition for our maritime ecosystem through strategising and managing digital products.

• Effectively influence and communicate with cross-functional teams to drive new product development and growth, and build strong relationships at the executive level
• Work with the Product Owner, Technical Lead, Business Analysts, User Experience Designers, Engineers in planning the activities required and timeline for each release.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant experiences as a Product Manager
• Proven experience in application solution and design.
• Strong understanding of agile software development processes.
• Experience in outsourcing and vendor management
• Proficient in data analysis and comfortable using analytics tools to drive product decisions. Demonstrated ability in adapting to new technologies and environments
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of solutions innovation, and willingness to learn quickly and take on challenges with a desire to make a big impact
• An understanding of how the Singapore Government operates as well as experience in the maritime sector is a plus.
