Evolution Singapore is seeking a Product Lead to drive data and technology capabilities for systematic commodity trading. You will work with portfolio managers, quantitative researchers, traders and engineering teams to shape the product roadmap and deliver end-to-end trading platforms.

You will translate front-office needs into precise requirements, define data sourcing and quality standards, and oversee vendor assessments and platform integration across research, backtesting, portfolio

• PM/leadership experience in hedge funds or front-office trading.
• Strong understanding of systematic trading workflows and lifecycle.
• Knowledge of commodity derivatives, futures curves and roll mechanics.
• Experience delivering or integrating trading platforms and data tools.
• Ability to translate investment requirements into technical deliverables.

Product Lead — Systematic Commodity Trading

Lead the development of data and technology capabilities supporting systematic commodity trading, working closely with portfolio managers, quantitative researchers, traders and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap, priorities and delivery of systematic trading and portfolio management capabilities.


• Translate front-office workflows into business requirements, functional specifications and acceptance criteria.


• Define vendor and in-house data requirements, covering sourcing, integration, quality and availability.


• Guide platform development across research, backtesting, portfolio construction, order management, execution, risk and P&L monitoring.


• Evaluate technology providers and lead build-versus-buy assessments, considering functionality, integration, scalability and cost.


• Coordinate testing, implementation and adoption, ensuring solutions meet investment teams’ needs.

Your Background

• Experience as a Product Manager, Product Lead or senior Business Analyst within a hedge fund, systematic investment manager or relevant front-office trading environment.


• Strong understanding of systematic trading workflows, from research and signal generation through to portfolio management and execution.


• Knowledge of commodity derivatives, including futures curves, contract expiries and roll mechanics.


• Experience delivering or integrating trading platforms, such as order and execution management systems, portfolio management systems, risk platforms or market-data infrastructure.


• Ability to translate investment requirements into actionable technology deliverables and challenge technical proposals constructively.


• Strong stakeholder management skills, with credibility across investment, technology and data teams.
