PERSOL is seeking a Product Engineer (Mechanical) in Singapore to evaluate and qualify mechanical components, plan validations, and ensure reliability across projects. Evaluate and qualify new or alternative mechanical components to enhance cost efficiency and ensure supply continuity.
Plan and conduct component validation activities, analyze test results, and address technical issues to maintain product reliability and quality.
Review and validate component specifications, drawings, and technical requirements for compliance and suitability.
Coordinate technical discussions with suppliers and internal teams to align on product and manufacturing needs.
Maintain and create engineering documentation, including drawings and evaluation records.
Support initiatives for component localization, engineering changes, and continuous improvement.
Monitor project timelines and ensure all assigned tasks are executed on schedule.
Ensure adherence to industry standards and customer requirements.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
Ability to interpret and create engineering drawings, including both isometric and orthographic views.
Proficient in Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting purposes.
Familiarity with CAD software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
Experienced in using measuring instruments, including vernier calipers, height gauges, and other inspection tools.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving abilities.
Detail‑oriented, proactive, and eager to learn.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, including plastic injection molding and machining.
Knowledge of material selection, component validation, and product development processes is an advantage.
