Job summary

HRLinked Asia Search & Consultancy Pte Ltd is looking for an automation tooling and control engineering specialist in Singapore. You will review system information for manufacturability, refine BOMs with internal teams, and ensure BOMs are accurately updated in SAP with Purchasing/Planning.

You will design workflows, document Manufacturing Process Instructions, and provide on-line manufacturing support to meet customer acceptance criteria. Travel to client sites may be required.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyse system and component information for manufacturability.
• Work with engineers to ensure completeness and updated system BOM.
• Update the BOM into the SAP system with Purchasing/Planning.
• Design and implement workflow and document MPI.
• Provide manufacturing support for product technical issues online to meet customer acceptance criteria.
• Support and train Site Install team to handle technical issues during install and commissioning.
• Assist Ops team to manage the Site team to meet customer targets.
• Collaborate with customer/engineers to ensure system fulfils specifications.
• Coordinate with supplier engineers to resolve component issues.

Job description

• Review & analyse all system and component information (from customer) for manufacturability
• Work with the Customer’s or internal engineers to ensure completeness & updated system BOM
• Work with Purchasing/Planning to update the BOM into the SAP system
• Design and implement workflow, and document the Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI)
• Manufacturing support for all product technical issues on-line to meet customer acceptance criteria
• Support and train the Site Install team to handle technical issues during install & commissioning
• Support the Ops team to manage the Site team to ensure they meet customer targets
• Work with the Customer’s or engineers to ensure system fulfils specifications
• Follow-up with supplier’s engineers to resolve technical issues with their components

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in automation tooling and control engineering
• Knowledge of Design and Implementation of work flow
• Good interpersonal and communication skill
• SAP knowledge will be added advantage
• Willing to travel
