Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (SCM, Procurement, Engineering, Business Administration).
• 3–5 years of procurement experience in data centre infrastructure or industrial heavy engineering.
• Understanding of data centre components: cooling infrastructure, power generation, containment systems.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing: Develop supply chain strategies and vendor portfolios for data centre infrastructure.
• Vendor Management: Evaluate and onboard suppliers, conduct RFPs, and negotiate contracts.
• Project Procurement & Delivery: Forecast equipment requirements and lead times with cross-functional teams.
• Expediting & Lifecycle Management: Track long-lead items and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Cost & Compliance: Audit post-contract performance and ensure policy compliance.
• Supplier Performance Management: Monitor performance, quality, delivery and implement improvements.
• Budget & Cost Optimisation: Drive savings through negotiations and process improvements.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Finance, Operations, Logistics.
• Market Intelligence: Monitor trends, pricing and supplier capabilities.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead our procurement and sourcing activities for data center infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of materials, equipment, and services to support the Company's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing: Develop supply chain strategies and build vendor portfolios for data centre infrastructure.

• Vendor Management: Evaluate and onboard suppliers, conduct RFPs (Request for Proposals), and manage contract negotiations.

• Project Procurement & Delivery: Collaborate closely with Project Management, Engineering, and Sales teams to accurately forecast equipment requirements and lead times.

• Expediting & Lifecycle Management: Track long-lead items, monitor production schedules, and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure timely project delivery.

• Cost & Compliance: Audit post-contract performance, analyse spending data, and ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and security requirements.

• Supplier Performance Management: Monitor supplier performance, quality, delivery, and service levels, and implement corrective actions where necessary.

• Budget & Cost Optimisation: Drive cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and continuous procurement process improvements.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Finance, Operations, Logistics teams to ensure smooth procurement and supply chain operations.

• Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, pricing, supply availability, and emerging technologies to support strategic procurement decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 3–5 years of procurement experience, preferably in data centre infrastructure, mission-critical environments, or industrial heavy engineering sectors.

• Good understanding of data centre infrastructure components, including cooling infrastructure, power generation, structural containment systems, and related equipment.

• Excellent analytical, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams.
