Job description

We are seeking a highly driven Procurement Manager for ERIKS to be based in Singapore to lead regional sourcing activities across the APAC region. This role is pivotal in strengthening our global procurement footprint and ensuring alignment between Group Procurement and local teams. You will be reporting to the Global Head of Procurement and overseeing the APAC sourcing team. You drive the enhancement of local market intelligence and support global direct procurement initiatives. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, collaborative, and capable of driving standardised procurement practices across regions.

Key Responsibilities:

Regional Procurement Management

  • Lead all sourcing activities within APAC to ensure the best-quality suppliers, competitive pricing, and optimised supplier performance.
  • Manage and develop the regional procurement/sourcing team, fostering continuous improvement and alignment with global strategies, with competitive procurement for local APAC.
  • Identify supplier opportunities in local markets and introduce suitable partners to European procurement colleagues on business growth opportunities and value creation.

Global Alignment & Process Standardisation

  • Ensure regional adoption of Group Procurement processes, tools, and systems (e.g. spend analytics, savings reporting, supplier engagement tracking).
  • Collaborate closely with global direct procurement counterparts to harmonise purchasing methodologies, communication practices, and governance models.
  • Drive market research and supplier scouting based on product specifications and business needs.
  • Partner with product groups and product managers to translate technical requirements into sourcing criteria.
  • Conduct or coordinate supplier evaluations and audits to confirm capability, capacity, compliance, and quality standards.
  • Propose suppliers to European stakeholders. Only after a thorough check if the suppliers would be capable and compliant to the European requirements.
  • After audits and proposals, participate in negotiation processes to secure best‑in‑class pricing and commercial terms.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Build strong relationships with cross‑functional teams and ensure procurement is deeply integrated into product development and operations.
  • Provide regular updates on APAC sourcing activity to the Global Head of Procurement.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Manufacturing or product‑driven environment experience.
  • Of which, >3 years of experience in APAC sourcing; ERIKS products knowledge is preferable
  • 7–10+ years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience, preferably in a global company
  • Experience managing regional teams and driving transformation or harmonisation of procurement processes.
  • Strong knowledge of APAC supply markets and regulatory environments.
  • Possibility to translate European needs into local APAC supply possibilities
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and supplier‑relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency with procurement systems and analytics tools.
