Job summary

Marina Bay Sands is offering a university internship in procurement in Singapore. The role covers catalog management for marketing and outside services, plus end-to-end sourcing activities including RFP preparation, Ariba setup for bids, and proposal consolidation, with emphasis on data accuracy and KPI reporting.

You will support contract monitoring, resolve invoicing issues with Accounts Payable, and collaborate with Laundry and Wardrobe to gather data for the monthly SRM meeting.

Qualifications

• Applicant must be a full-time matriculated student.
• Internship should contribute to school graduation requirements.
• No experience required as training will be provided.
• Possess basic computer literacy.
• Ability to juggle both short-term daily tactical role and long-term strategic initiatives.
• Proactive, demonstrates a strong sense of urgency, and adapts effectively to fast-paced environments.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate data, and document procedures.
• Approachable and responds appropriately to queries and feedback.
• Able to commit to full-time work arrangement from Mondays to Fridays throughout the internship.

Responsibilities

• Manage and review catalogues for marketing and outside services commodities.
• Perform sourcing across various categories, scope includes preparation of RFP documents, setting up of Ariba sourcing for bid submissions, consolidating proposal, management of presentation and feedback.
• Management of operational feedback from users on key sourcing projects.
• Troubleshoot invoicing issues in Ariba and liaise with Accounts Payable and Suppliers to resolve issues.
• Support the procurement team on contract monitoring and management activities.
• Collaborate with Laundry and Wardrobe teams to gather KPI data for the monthly SRM meeting.
