The role requires hands-on procurement experience in manufacturing, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams. Onsite work at Changi with standard business hours and potential for contract renewal.

Qualifikationen

• Able to work independently and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Comfortable onsite at Changi and available for calls outside office hours.

We are hiring under Recruit Express headcount and you will be deployed to:

Location: Changi (Onsite)
Salary: $4,500–$6,000/month
Contract Duration: 1 Year (Potential Renewal / Conversion)
Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm

Key responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end purchasing activities, including sourcing quotations, processing purchase orders and managing procurement requirements

• Procure direct materials and raw materials to support manufacturing operations

• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and ensure timely material deliveries

• Monitor inventory levels, purchase orders and material availability to prevent production shortages

• Track outstanding orders, expedite deliveries and resolve supplier or shipment issues

• Support cost-saving initiatives, supplier sourcing and supply chain improvement projects

• Analyse purchasing data, inventory trends and supplier performance to improve procurement efficiency

• Work closely with production, engineering, quality and logistics teams to ensure smooth material supply

• Ensure compliance with purchasing policies, quality standards and audit requirements

About you

• Hands-on procurement / buying experience is required, preferably in a manufacturing environment

• Experience purchasing raw materials or direct materials for manufacturing is strongly preferred

• Experience in vendor management, supplier negotiations and maintaining supplier relationships

• Familiarity with purchase order management, inventory planning and material replenishment

• Knowledge of MRP, VMI or other inventory and procurement planning systems would be advantageous

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable handling procurement reports

• Able to work independently and coordinate with cross-functional teams

• Comfortable working onsite at Changi and attending occasional calls outside office hours
