Recruit Express Pte Ltd is hiring for a Manufacturing Engineering role focused on automation, digitalisation and process improvement at our Changi onsite site in Singapore. The role involves developing software solutions, supporting validation activities, and applying programming tools to enhance manufacturing efficiency.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and have knowledge of Python, Power BI and C/C# programming.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation or related field.
• Relevant experience in manufacturing engineering, automation, digitalisation or software development is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Python, Power BI or other programming languages.
• Knowledge of C# or C programming would be an advantage.
• Exposure to AI, machine learning, Industry 4.0 or smart manufacturing projects would be beneficial.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Support troubleshooting of automated equipment and implementation of new technologies.
• Prepare technical documentation, work instructions and training materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing issues and improve operational performance.
• Explore AI, robotics and Industry 4.0 technologies for manufacturing applications.

We are hiring under Recruit Express headcount and you will be deployed to:

Location: Changi (Onsite)
Department: Manufacturing Engineering - Sterilization, Resilia & Packaging
Salary: Up to $6,500/month
Contract Duration: 1 Year (Renewable)

• Support manufacturing automation, digitalisation and process improvement projects
• Design and improve manufacturing equipment, tools, fixtures and production processes
• Develop software solutions and provide technical support for coding and automation projects

About you

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation or a related scientific discipline
• Relevant experience in manufacturing engineering, automation, digitalisation or software development is advantageous
• Knowledge of Python, Power BI or other programming languages
• Knowledge of C# or C programming would be an advantage
• Understanding of automated equipment, robotics, industrial automation or equipment troubleshooting is preferred
• Exposure to AI, machine learning, Industry 4.0 or smart manufacturing projects would be beneficial
