Job summary

A growing engineering firm in Singapore seeks a Mechanical Procurement Engineer specialized in sheet metal and fabrication. The role involves managing procurement for mechanical components, ensuring quality and timely delivery, and collaborating closely with suppliers. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in procurement, strong knowledge of fabrication processes, and the ability to communicate effectively in English. This position offers a hybrid work model with a monthly salary range of 6,500–7,200 SGD and a permanent contract from day one.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in procurement or supplier management for mechanical components.
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities for mechanical components, mainly sheet metal parts.
• Coordinate with manufacturing suppliers for delivery schedules and quality topics.
• Lead RFQs and cost-reduction initiatives with suppliers.
