Job summary

Siemens Mobility invites students for an internship in Singapore to support procurement activities in the Rail Infrastructure sector. You will manage supplier and material databases, assist with RFQs, and contribute to vendor qualification and spend analysis as part of digitalization efforts in procurement.

Ideal candidates are MBA students with background in procurement/supply chain, self-motivated and eager to learn. A Valid Student Pass in Singapore (or WHP) is required.

Qualifications

• Degree/Master of MBA student majoring in Business or equivalent fields preferably having a background of procurement/supply chain.
• Candidates must be self-motivated with a drive to learn.
• Eligible candidates must possess a Valid Student Pass in Singapore or satisfy the Work Holiday Pass requirements.

Responsibilities

• Management of supplier and material database
• RFQ and interface with project for technical review
• Vendor qualification and master controlling including qualification, vendor creation and extension
• Spent analysis of key categories including cables and installation work
• Support e-sourcing activities (supplier training, design format, conduct events)
• Support digitalization initiatives in procurement
• Monthly reporting of procurement contribution to business
