Job summary

RRecruiter is seeking an experienced procurement professional in Singapore to oversee the full purchasing lifecycle for manufacturing materials and services. You will work across Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Finance to ensure timely delivery and alignment with business goals.

You will negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, monitor KPI performance, and implement lean cost-reduction strategies to minimize total cost of ownership.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of purchasing/procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end purchasing lifecycle from requisition review to PO generation and goods receipt.
• Manage procurement for high-mix/low-volume parts, raw materials, MRO items, and consumables.
• Utilize MRP and supplier portals to monitor usage, demand forecasts, and delivery schedules.
• Maintain inventory at target safety stock to minimize holding costs while ensuring material availability.
• Lead supplier negotiations on pricing, terms, and lead times to optimize total cost of ownership.
• Assess supplier KPIs across cost, quality, OTD, and responsiveness.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Finance to resolve issues.
• Source and onboard qualified suppliers in line with governance and standards.
• Drive lean initiatives and continuous cost-reduction across regional supply base.
• Analyze spend data and prepare management reports on trends and risks.
