Job summary

Private Advertiser in Singapore is seeking a purchasing professional to collaborate with engineers and managers to understand and fulfill purchasing requirements, source and negotiate with suppliers, and manage procurement processes in SAP. You will assess suppliers, handle tender submissions, and prepare monthly reports for Purchasing & Admin Department.

Candidates should have a Diploma/Degree in Business or Logistics and at least 2 years of procurement experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Business or Logistics is required.
• Experience with purchasing systems is preferred.
• At least 2 years of procurement experience is preferred.
• Experience in sourcing, price negotiation, and handling overseas shipments is required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks is required.
• Proactive, positive, and responsible individual.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Engineers and Managers to understand and fulfill purchasing requirements.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for equipment, materials, and services to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
• Assess and select suppliers based on quality standards, pricing, delivery timelines, and reliability.
• Manage procurement processes, including the creation, matching, and tracking of Purchase Orders (POs) and requisitions in SAP.
• Review, coordinate, and follow up on tender submissions, ensuring accurate and complete documentation.
• Handling vehicle administration including road tax renewal and VPC renewals.
• Maintenance of non-incident records and safety documentation filing.
• Preparation of monthly reports for Purchasing & Admin Department.
