Job summary
Evonik is seeking a process technology professional in Singapore to drive continuous improvement across production. You will lead interdisciplinary teams, develop innovative process concepts and manage experiments in lab and pilot facilities.
A strong background in process technology and chemistry, plus 5+ years in petrochemicals, is expected. Fluency in English and a proactive, collaborative mindset are essential as you contribute to global expert groups and continued development at Evonik
Qualifications
- Bachelor or higher in process technology, chemical engineering or related sciences.
- 5+ years in petrochemical/specialty chemicals; Jurong Island experience a plus.
- Excellent English (written and spoken).
Responsibilities
- Continuously optimise processes and plan plants in collaboration with production.
- Execute small investment and optimisation projects in Singapore plants.
- Contribute to optimisation of existing production processes as part of development.
- Lead process development projects with interdisciplinary teams.
- Develop innovative process concepts and methods for specialty chemical production.
- Plan, coordinate and execute experiments in lab, pilot plant or production environment.
