Job summary

RECRUIT123 PTE. LTD. is seeking experienced Process Technology / Plant Engineers in Singapore to support process optimization, plant reliability, and operational excellence across chemical and petrochemical facilities.

You will troubleshoot, debottleneck, and develop process documentation (PFDs, P&IDs, mass/energy balances, procedures), participate in HAZOP/HAZID and MOC processes, and collaborate with operations, maintenance, EHS, and projects teams to improve yield, efficiency, and safety.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• 3–8 years of process engineering experience in chemical/petrochemical plant.
• Strong understanding of process safety principles (PSM) and Singapore regulatory requirements.
• Hands-on experience with process simulation tools (Aspen, HYSYS).
• Experience with HAZOP/HAZID and MOC processes preferred.
• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide process engineering support for plant operations, including troubleshooting and debottlenecking.
• Develop, review, and update process documentation (PFDs, P&IDs, mass/energy balances, procedures).
• Support process safety studies (HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA) and ensure compliance with PSM.
• Monitor plant performance against design parameters and propose improvements.
• Lead or support root cause analysis for deviations, equipment failures, and incidents.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and technical teams on turnarounds and projects.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, environmental, and safety regulations (MOM, NEA, PSM).
• Provide technical guidance and training to technicians and staff.
• Participate in MOC processes; support commissioning and start-up activities.
