Job summary

Applied Materials South East Asia Pte Ltd is seeking a Process Technician in R&D to support development and optimization of semiconductor manufacturing processes. Qualifications

• ITE/ Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Materials Science) or related field.
• More than 3 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing or R&D environment preferred.
• Familiarity with cleanroom operations and semiconductor processing equipment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs.
• Basic understanding of process control and data analysis.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be able to commit Monday - Friday rotating shift (9am - 6pm/ 4pm - 11pm).

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers to develop process technology for advanced semiconductor processes.
• Perform basic recipe and CH troubleshooting during process runs and implement changes as directed by engineers.
• Own execution of module processes, data collection for measurement and inspection, and share data with engineers.
• Interact with internal and external CH and metrology tool owners to align for tool time, execute process sequences and collect data to feedback to engineers.
• Occasional overtime to support process engineering activities.

As aProcess Technician in R&D, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and optimization of semiconductor manufacturing processes. You will work closely with engineers and scientists to execute experiments, collect data, and maintain equipment in a cleanroom environment. This position is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, hands-on, and passionate about advancing cutting-edge technology.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting engineer to work on developing process technology for advanced semiconductor processes

• Responsible for performing basic recipe and CH troubleshooting during process runs and implement changes based on directions from the engineer

• Owner for the execution of module process, data collection for measurement & inspection and sharing of data with the engineer

• Interact with internal and external CH and metrology tool owners to align for tool time, execute process sequence and collect data to feedback to engineer

• Occasional over-time to support process engineering support activities
