Job summary

KYEC Singapore Pte. Ltd. seeks a Quality Assurance/Process Engineer to audit manufacturing processes, monitor critical parameters, and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and QC plans.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or QA, 3-5 years in manufacturing QA or process engineering, and knowledge of SPC, RCA, CAPA; Six Sigma Green Belt or CQE is a plus. Entry-level applicants are welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or related field.
• 3-5 years in quality assurance or process engineering in manufacturing.
• Certification in QA (Six Sigma Green Belt, CQE, ISO 9001 Auditor) a plus.
• Proficient in statistical process control (SPC), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and CAPA systems.
• Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) such as ISO 9001 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular audits of manufacturing or service processes to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
• Monitor critical process parameters and ensure they are maintained within specified limits.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and quality control plans.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and customer specifications.
• Collaborate with regulatory bodies for process validation and certification.
• Investigate product or process non-conformities and perform root cause analysis to identify underlying issues.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to address defects or process inefficiencies.
• Collaborate with teams to develop solutions and prevent recurrence of quality issues
• Collect and analyze quality data from various stages of the process.
• Prepare reports on quality performance metrics, including defect rates, CP, CPK, and trends.
• Present findings and recommendations to management for continuous improvement.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and TQM.
• Work with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and reduce variability, waste, and inefficiencies.
• Lead or participate in quality improvement projects to enhance process stability and product consistency.
• Provide training to production and engineering teams on quality standards, procedures, and problem-solving techniques.
• Develop and promote quality awareness across the organization.

Role Requirements

• Proficient in statistical process control (SPC), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Corrective / Preventive Action (CAPA) systems
