Job description

Position Summary

Contract, 1 year | Up to $4,500 | Yishun | Mon to Fri, 8:30am to 6pm.

Implementation

• Evaluate products/technologies to be transferred to define capabilities within SCM SGP.
• Develop project scope and objectives covering all relevant technical, analytical and procurement activities and ensure smooth roll out.
• Prepare project timeline and develop detailed project plan to track progress.
• Manage expectations with all stakeholders.
• Work with partners to achieve all key project milestones.
• Execute critical steps to complete the Transfer of Product/Technology.
• Report on, assess and analyze project performance and take appropriate actions to prevent overruns.
• Coordinate internal resources and all relevant stakeholders for flawless execution.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on time and within scope.
• Work with relevant partners to ensure resource availability and allocation.

Product & Process Development

• Work with R&D on both product actualization (PAG) and product sustaining (PSG) completing manufacturing sections such as DFM, ECP, work instructions, customer/internal defects, etc.
• Develop work procedures, process flow diagrams and jigs & equipment for new products.
• Determine critical process metrics to be monitored regularly, working with Product Managers to develop Scope of Delivery that covers implementation of Statistical Process Controls for assigned production processes.
• Complete General Process Change Control documents when implementing process changes on assigned production processes.
• Ensure safety and process hazard reviews are conducted for new product releases.

Process Improvements

• Explore and propose new production procedures and areas to automate, improve and scale up existing processes. Utilize General Process Change Control system to implement changes, provide progress reports and financial evaluations.
• Run test programs to identify key variables for process optimization using sound continuous improvement techniques (such as ANOVA, DOE), collect and analyze data from acceptance tests, develop conclusions and recommendations for process improvement.
