Job summary

Silith, a fabless design house in Singapore, is seeking a Process Integration Engineer to bridge silicon photonics designs with external foundries. You will drive process optimization, yield improvement, and failure analysis to enable successful tape-out and mass production of 800G/1.6T engines.

You will collaborate across teams, interpret PDKs, and support international foundry partnerships, with fresh graduates welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Microelectronics, Materials Science, Physics, EE, or related field.
• Solid understanding of semiconductor process flows; experience in process integration or process development is preferred.
• Strong data analysis skills with ability to independently identify and resolve process-related issues.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to drive cross-functional problem-solving.
• Ability to effectively support international collaboration with foundries.

Job description

As a Process Integration Engineer in our fabless design house, you are the vital link between our silicon photonic circuit designs and external foundries. You will ensure that our innovative PICs are manufacturable with high yield and reliability. By driving process optimization and failure analysis, you enable seamless tape-out and mass production of our 800G/1.6T engines.

Responsibilities:

• Process Development & Support: Collaborate with foundries to develop and optimize process flows; interpret PDKs and process specifications to support design teams; evaluate new process nodes
• Problem Solving: Work with foundries on failure analysis to identify root causes and drive process improvements; manage production issues and delays
• Yield & Reliability Improvement: Analyze yield data, optimize process windows, and support reliability testing to ensure stable mass production
• Cross-functional Communication: Serve as technical interface between design houses and foundries; coordinate reviews to ensure alignment between design and process
• Tape-out & Mass Production Support: Support tape-out activities (mask data preparation, process documentation review); monitor production yield and process parameters to proactively prevent issues
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned
