Job summary

GlobalFoundries in Singapore is seeking a hands-on technician to support silicon wafer production on a 12-hour shift. You will assist engineers, troubleshoot process issues, and help maintain process integrity and SOP adherence in a high-volume module environment.

Applicants should hold a Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics and Microelectronics Engineering with at least 1 year of relevant experience and be capable of rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics and Microelectronics Engineering.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Able to perform 12-hour rotating shift.

Responsibilities

• Perform 12-hour shift duties to support silicon wafer production.
• Assist Engineers in qualification and fine-tuning of processes for production.
• Trouble-shoot process-related issues and minimize downtime.
• Monitor and improve the qualified process using SPC and other statistical tools.
• Coordinate with specialists to ensure SOPs are followed and module objectives met.
• Assist in implementing process improvement projects.
• Participate in QIT programs to improve productivity and output quality.
• Work with QA on internal audits.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the production area and ensure safety of tools and equipment.
