Job summary

SG ENVIRO PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead and support process engineering, design and commissioning of water, wastewater treatment and water reuse systems, covering physical-chemical, biological, DAF, membrane filtration/RO, and sludge handling.

You will engineer mass and energy balances, develop design bases, PFDs and P&IDs, prepare proposals, and provide field and client support, ensuring safe, on‑time project delivery and high performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years in industrial water/wastewater treatment, with hands-on design and commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of chemical and biological treatment, DAF, membranes and RO.
• Experience with process calculations and technical documentation.
• Willingness to travel for overseas assignments when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead process design and optimization of water, wastewater and reuse systems.
• Perform mass and hydraulic balances, equipment sizing and utility requirements.
• Develop proposals with process selection and cost assessments.
• Prepare design specs, BQ, RFQ docs and evaluate equipment.
• Support BD through site surveys, client meetings and technical clarifications.
• Provide process support during detailed design and project execution.
• Lead testing, commissioning, start-up and troubleshooting; prepare O&M manuals.
