Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering.
• Up to 10 years of relevant work experience in refinery, petrochemical, or chemical industries.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with all staff levels and cross-functional teams.
• Proficient knowledge of process design and engineering principles.
• Familiarity with ASME and API codes and standards.
• Knowledge and application of HAZOP, Root Cause Analysis, Statistical Process Control (SPC), and engineering tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot process issues and implement improvements to enhance plant reliability and increase capacity.
• Coordinate and actively participate in HAZOP studies to ensure process safety compliance within the plant.
• Develop detailed process improvement proposals for project planning, implementation, and execution.
• Conduct plant trials to validate process improvements and qualify raw materials for production.
• Initiate, plan, and manage capital projects to support operational enhancements.
• Perform basic process engineering design tasks to support plant operations and projects.
• Monitor process trends and product quality data to ensure consistent product quality and conformance.
