Job summary

MURATA ELECTRONICS SINGAPORE (PTE) LTD in Tuas, Singapore, is seeking a Process Engineer to support assembly process activities, including process parameter optimization, root cause analysis, and report generation. You will maintain process quality and yield, analyze equipment and parameters, and drive improvements across new cell models, materials, and technologies while documenting results and coordinating

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of statistics and data analysis.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Process Quality: Maintain process control for quality and yield, drive continuous improvement, and plan/evaluate engineering tests.
• Process Optimization: Analyze equipment/process parameters, identify root causes, and implement validated improvements.
• Project Management: Lead/support projects for new cell models, materials, processes and technologies, ensuring activities meet required schedules.
• Defect Analysis: Investigate process-related defects from production/customers and coordinate effective countermeasures.
• Documentation: Prepare, maintain and update process specifications, engineering reports, change-management and related documents.
• Other Responsibilities: Support CFTs, committees and other tasks/projects assigned by supervisor
