Job summary

Reeracoen Singapore Pte Ltd's client in plastics and synthetic rubber seeks a Process Engineer (Petrochemical) to lead process optimization and safety initiatives. You will drive efficiency gains, coordinate new grade trials with R&D and Operations, and monitor long-term process performance to ensure plant stability and quality.

The role requires active participation in HAZOP, FMEA, and Control Plan studies, and oversight of CAPEX projects from concept through FEED, with exposure to Industry 4.0

Responsibilities

• Draft and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance occupational safety, product quality, and production capacity, while reducing energy consumption and costs via MOC and non-routine work systems.
• Coordinate and manage new grade trial runs with R&D and Operations, overseeing planning to final evaluation.
• Conduct periodic long-term evaluations of process performance and key parameters to mitigate risks to plant stability, safety, and quality.
• Actively participate in HAZOP, FMEA, and Control Plan studies as the Process Engineering representative.
• Oversee capital expenditure projects from conceptual design through FEED and lead departmental projects; research and implement Industry 4.0 technologies to drive productivity.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain management systems (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, SS651, IATF16949, Safety Case Regime, Energy Management Systems, ISCC Plus).
• Perform technical studies regarding NRW, MOC, and other ad hoc requests as required by internal departments.

Our Client provides high-class plastics and synthetic rubber for multiple industries such as automotive, electronics, and more. They are looking for a Process Engineer (Petrochemical).

【Responsibilities】

• - Draft and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance occupational safety, product quality, and production capacity, while simultaneously reducing energy consumption and operational costs through the Management of Change (MOC) and non-routine work systems.


• - Coordinate and manage new grade trial runs in collaboration with R&D and Operations, overseeing the entire process from planning to final evaluation.


• - Conduct periodic long-term evaluations of process performance and key parameters to proactively identify and mitigate risks to plant stability, safety, and quality.


• - Actively participate in HAZOP, FMEA, and Control Plan studies as the dedicated Process Engineering representative.


• - Oversee capital expenditure projects from conceptual design through Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and lead departmental projects as assigned by management. Research and implement Industry 4.0 technologies to drive productivity.


• - Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain management systems, including ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, SS651, IATF16949, the Safety Case Regime, Energy Management Systems, and ISCC Plus.
