Job summary

STMicroelectronics in Singapore is seeking a Metrology Process Operations Engineer to oversee metrology processes in a manufacturing environment. You will ensure accurate measurement and calibration of metrology equipment and collaborate with production teams to optimize yield and throughput.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and hands-on experience in metrology, measurement systems, and calibration techniques.

  • Manage a team of Metrology technicians
  • Support and follow-up on activities related to capacity, production moves, and cycle time & output

YOUR ROLE

The metrology process operations engineer is responsible for overseeing and optimizing metrology processes in a manufacturing environment. The engineer ensures accurate measurement and calibration of metrology equipment. Responsibilities include:

  • Create new product recipes for thickness and CD
  • Develop Metrology tool crisis plans
  • Collaborate with Production, Process and Equipment owners to develop tool downtime mitigation plans
  • Manage a team of Metrology technicians
  • Support and follow-up on activities related to capacity, production moves, and cycle time & output
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, materials science, or a related field or Diploma with 5 years of working experience in relevant field
  • Experience in metrology process operations in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of measurement systems, calibration techniques, and industry standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
