Job summary

NEU Battery Materials is seeking an experienced Process Engineer for our Singapore site during a critical scale-up phase. The role demands hands-on commissioning, trial run execution, and the establishment of disciplined data tracking and troubleshooting processes across the plant.

You will lead the preparation and execution of process line commissioning, coordinate teams and contractors, and ensure safety, documentation and equipment qualification are in place.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.
• 5–10 years hands‑on process engineering, plant operations or production experience.
• Direct experience leading commissioning activities and production trial runs.
• Ability to prepare a team for commissioning and manage execution.
• Structured data tracking and performance monitoring during trials.

Responsibilities

• Drive preparation and execution of process line commissioning, defining steps and coordinating teams.
• Own commissioning checklist, equipment qualification, safety checks and documentation.
• Lead trial production runs from preparation through execution and track performance data.
• Troubleshoot commissioning issues on the ground and make timely, informed calls.
• Oversee scaling and integration of new process equipment from pilot to full scale.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and conduct hazard studies as needed.
• Develop data tracking systems and lead standardisation to improve plant performance.
