Job summary

MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions, a business segment of Element Solutions Inc, seeks a Chemical Process Engineer to develop and optimize chemical manufacturing processes by collaborating with regional and functional leaders to identify projects that boost productivity, quality and reduce costs.

You will lead optimization projects, share best practices, and develop scale-up guidelines while driving cross-functional collaboration and KPI improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline is required.
• 2–5 years of relevant industrial chemical manufacturing experience.
• Experience in operations/supply-chain with cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong leadership, program/process management, analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to lead, coach and inspire a team independently of formal authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead optimization projects: plan, coordinate, communicate and execute chemical process improvements.
• Share and implement best practices within the region.
• Develop guidelines and procedures for scale-up of new products and technology transfers.
• Provide technical and managerial direction for special, complex projects.
• Develop new processes to reduce cycle time and improve quality and yield.
• Motivate the team to achieve KPI targets set by management.
• Lead taskforces to resolve production and quality issues.
