Job summary

RRecruiter is seeking an Applications/Process Engineer in Singapore to provide technical applications and process support for semiconductor equipment. You will work with customers to assess capabilities, optimise performance, and resolve issues across installations, maintenance, and demonstrations.

The role requires 3–4 years of relevant experience and strong problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of relevant experience in Applications or Process Engineering for semiconductors.
• Hands-on ion implantation experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with front-end semiconductor equipment is advantageous.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and customer-support abilities.

• Provide technical support through product presentations, demonstrations, installation, and maintenance.

• Perform technical analysis and calculations to support application development and problem resolution.
• Share application knowledge and technical guidance with customers and internal teams.

Requirements

• Relevant experience as an Applications or Process Engineer in the semiconductor industry.
• Approximately 3-4 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on ion implantation experience is strongly preferred.
• Candidates with other front-end semiconductor equipment experience may also be considered, including:
• Thin-film deposition: PVD, CVD, or ALD
• Etch, CMP, or wet processing
• Inspection or metrology
• Strong technical troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and customer support skills.
