Job summary

Talentvis Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a process engineer to support molding processes, mold transfers, and quality issue resolution to提升 efficiency and safety. You will develop process parameters, fixtures, and controls for production parts, and document buyoff procedures for new or transferred molds.

You will collaborate on timely product launches, drive continuous improvement programs such as DOE and FMEA, and ensure compliance with cGMP and food safety standards within manufacturing

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering with relevant production experience.
• 1 to 3 years in production engineering or assembly processes in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of FMEA, Process Validation & Improvement, and DOE.

Responsibilities

• Provide process engineering support to improve molding processes, mold buyoff, new mold transfers, and resolve quality issues to enhance efficiency and safety.
• Collaborate with Engineering to ensure timely launch of new products.
• Develop process parameters, fixture tooling, and process controls for production parts.
• Document and execute buyoff procedures for new or transferred molds before mass production release.
• Monitor yields and cycle times to meet BOM standards.
• Coordinate cross-functionally to address all process-related issues, including sample builds.
• Investigate process or material problems and implement effective solutions.
• Execute productivity programs such as process automation and tooling/fixture improvements.
• Review and provide Corrective Action Reports for customer complaints and monitor quality issues.
• Provide rework instructions and initiate preventive actions with root cause analysis and FMEA.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Provide process engineering support to improve molding processes, mold buyoff, new mold transfers, and resolve quality issues to enhance operational efficiency and workplace safety
• Collaborate with the Engineering team to ensure timely launch of new products
• Develop process parameters, fixture tooling, and process controls for production parts
• Document and execute procedures for buyoff on new or transferred molds before mass production release
• Monitor and ensure yields and cycle times meet BOM standards
• Coordinate cross-functionally to address all process-related issues, including sample builds
• Investigate process or material problems and implement effective solutions
• Execute productivity programs such as process automation and tooling/fixture fabrication or improvements
• Review and provide Corrective Action Reports promptly for customer complaints and monitor quality issues related to assigned products
• Provide rework instructions for non-conforming products and initiate preventive actions through documentation including root cause analysis, process flow charts, FMEA, and Control Plans
• Drive continuous improvement projects and maintain Food Safety Management system effectiveness by applying cGMP principles
• Provide after-sales support and lead in-house activities to meet customer requirements
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors
• Adhere to workplace health and safety policies, cooperate with management and colleagues on EHS initiatives

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in production engineering or assembly processes within manufacturing
• Knowledge of FMEA, Process Validation & Improvement, and DOE
