Responsibilities

  • Monitoring food stock and movement.
  • Understanding daily departmental cost affecting profit and loss.
  • Ensuring minimum kitchen wastage.
  • Learning skills and recording recipes.
  • Following cleaning schedules for the kitchen.
  • Controlling and rotating stocks as per FIFO.
  • Assisting with store deliveries and checking goods.
  • Completing miss en place in the section.
  • Reporting maintenance issues to the head chef.
  • Complying with company policies and statutory regulations.
  • Adhering to food hygiene policies.
  • Being flexible to help other departments.
