Job description

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Private Family Chauffeur to support the transportation and day-to-day needs of a private household. The role goes beyond driving and will involve supporting the family with school and tuition transfers, children's activities and appointments, household errands, grocery shopping, and ad-hoc transportation needs. The ideal candidate should be mature, patient and comfortable working around children, with a strong sense of responsibility and discretion. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is comfortable with a dynamic schedule and can provide additional support outside of regular working hours when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Family Transportation
  1. Safely and punctually transport the employer and family members to and from school, tuition, appointments, activities, meals and other engagements.
  2. Manage regular school and tuition pick-ups and drop-offs for the children.
  3. Provide transportation and, where required, accompaniment for medical, therapy and other appointments.
  4. Support transportation for weekend activities, birthday parties, outings and other family commitments.
• Household Errands &Support
  1. Assist the domestic helper with grocery shopping and marketing.
  2. Run errands and purchase household items as required.
• Personal Chauffeur Support
  1. Provide transportation and accompaniment for the employer's personal and social engagements, including meals, evening engagements and recreational activities.
  2. Be prepared to adjust the schedule according to the family's changing needs.
  3. Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion when handling personal and family matters.
• Vehicle Management
  1. Maintain the assigned vehicle in clean, safe and presentable condition at all times.
  2. Conduct regular checks on the vehicle and arrange servicing, maintenance and repairs when required.
  3. Ensure the vehicle is appropriately fuelled and ready for use.
  4. Plan routes and manage journeys efficiently to ensure punctuality.

Requirements

• Valid Singapore Class 3/3A driving licence with a clean and safe driving record.
• Prior experience as a private chauffeur, family driver or similar household driving role.
• Candidates with prior experience working with families and children are strongly preferred.
• Patient, calm and emotionally stable, particularly when dealing with children.
• Reliable, responsible and punctual, with a strong sense of commitment.
• Able to adapt to changing schedules and handle last-minute or ad-hoc requests.
• Comfortable with extended working hours, late-night duties and weekend work.
• Good knowledge of Singapore roads and traffic conditions.
• Professional appearance, good personal hygiene and courteous manner.
• High level of discretion and respect for the family's privacy.
• Able to work independently and take initiative when handling errands and day-to-day tasks.
