Job summary

Luxoft Singapore is seeking a Technical Delivery Manager to lead IT projects spanning multiple business units, owning end-to-end delivery from initiation to closure, managing scope, schedule, budget, and quality.

You will coordinate internal teams and external vendors, provide executive-level status reporting, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives and SDM guidelines throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in IT Project Management / Delivery Management.
  • Strong experience managing Capital Markets projects within a banking environment.
  • Proven experience managing the full project life cycle.
  • Strong experience in project planning, delivery, change management, risk management, and issue management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end project and change request engagements, including planning, resources, budget, vendors, communications, risks, issues, and deliverables.
  • Manage complex technology initiatives across one or multiple lines of business.
  • Own the full project life cycle from initiation and planning through implementation and closure.
  • Prepare detailed project plans covering scope, milestones, timelines, dependencies, resources, and deliverables.
  • Manage project scope, changes, dependencies, risks, issues, and critical-path activities.
  • Coordinate internal teams, business stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors to ensure successful delivery.
  • Manage project resources and ensure adequate capacity to meet agreed timelines and objectives.
  • Chair project management meetings and manage day-to-day project activities.
  • Monitor and control projects against scope, schedule, budget, quality, and agreed delivery standards.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues and provide regular status reporting to leadership and business stakeholders.
  • Provide effective executive-level communication and escalation of key project risks and decisions.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Understand and manage interdependencies between technology, operations, and business functions.
  • Manage quality control, identify delivery issues, and coordinate appropriate resolution.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to project team members and monitor progress.
  • Identify, track, and mitigate project and change-request risks to minimize impact on agreed baselines.
  • Ensure projects and change requests remain aligned with strategic business objectives and organizational standards.

About the Role: The Technical Delivery Manager is responsible to deliver IT project(s) and change requests that span across multiple business units. Manage resources, schedules, financial and adhere to stage gate quality and SDM control guidelines throughout the full systems development life cycle. This also includes management of issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. The Technical Delivery Manager has the authority to run the project on a day-to-day basis. Verify that the project produces the required deliverables of quality, within the specified boundaries of time and cost and to achieve the potential benefits.
