Job summary

SSMC, a joint venture between NXP and TSMC, is seeking a Principal Engineer in Singapore to drive integration and technology development for HV processes. The role focuses on developing, transferring and qualifying new processes and ensuring seamless transfer to production.

You will lead cross-functional teams, run DOEs, and resolve process issues to optimize integration and yield. A strong background in HV, BCD, RF, NV, BiCMOS and CMOS fabrication is essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or above in semiconductor/electronics/physics/material engineering.
• Ph.D. in a related discipline is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in a semiconductor manufacturing environment with device/process development or integration.
• Experience in HV, BCD, RF, NV, BiCMOS device development and CMOS fabrication is desired.
• Good interpersonal skills to work with cross-cultural, multi-continental teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, transfer & qualify new and derivative processes and ensure seamless transfer to Production.
• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve process issues during development/transfer.
• Run DOE to optimize process integration and determine specifications.
• Resolve all process integration issues by completing window checks identified in FMEA.
• Address inline & ET low CPK parameters and improve yield for test vehicles.
• Identify and correct ET-related problems affecting production readiness.
• Ensure runsheets are production-ready and complete.
• Prepare engineering lot reports for new devices and experiments.
• Contribute to Productivity Projects.

We're searching for a Principal Engineer to be part of our Integration and Technology Development, HV Development Department diverse team of talent.

What you will be working on:

• To develop, transfer & qualify new & derivative processes and seamless transfer to Production.
• Lead cross functional team to resolve any process issues encountered during development/transfer.
• Run design of experiments (DOE) to optimize process integration and to determine the process specification
• Resolve all process integration issues by ensuring all window checks are done on critical process steps identified in failure mode effect and analysis (FMEA)
• Work on inline & electrical test (ET) low CPK parameters & test vehicle esort yield improvement
• Identify and correct all ET related problems that may affect seamless production
• Ensure all runsheets are "production worthy"
• Prepare engineering lot report for every new device & experiment
• Productivity Projects

More about you:

• Master degree or above in semiconductor/electronics/electrical/Physics/Material engineering or relevant disciplines. Ph.D is preferable.
• Minimum 5 years working in a semiconductor manufacturing industry with experience in device/process development or integration.
• Experience in HV, BCD, RF, NV, and BiCOMS device & technology development is desired and preferred
• Possess CMOS fabrication experience.
• Good knowledge in HV, BCD, RF, NV, BiCMOS and eFlash device and technology
• Good interpersonal skills in working with different cultures and multi continental teams.
