Job summary

ST Engineering in Singapore seeks a Senior / Systems Integration Engineer to support design, integration, testing and deployment of complex systems. You will work with multidisciplinary teams on on-site projects at Jurong East and may involve overseas deployments.

The role requires system-level thinking, problem-solving and hands-on troubleshooting. Candidates should have strong knowledge of Windows/Unix/Linux, databases, networking and IT security.

Qualifications

• Knowledge in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology or equivalent
• Experience in Windows server OS, Unix/Linux OS & VM environment
• Good knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.
• Good knowledge with VPN, firewall appliances, Cisco routers/switches
• Strong interpersonal and communication finesse
• Proactive problem-solving process
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and industry best practices
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Candidates with more experience may be considered for senior roles.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor, and control the various technical aspects of the project.
• Collaborate with clients, software developers, and other stakeholders to identify system requirements and ensure that proposed solutions meet those requirements.
• Manage or participate in new setup or upgrade of system/network infrastructure projects.
• Support operational systems to meet contractual Service Level Agreement
• Perform, manage routine preventive maintenance and operational activities promptly and effectively.
• Diagnose & rectify technical issues.
