Job summary

Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) through the Next Generation Programme Office (NGPO) is seeking a seasoned systems engineer to advance Next Generation Air Navigation Services (ANS) software-centric systems. You will shape requirements, architecture, interfaces and integration across mission-critical ANS platforms, spanning from design to operational readiness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of systems engineering experience in large-scale, software-centric real-time or safety-critical systems.
• Strong understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle and ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288.
• Experience with Agile, DevSecOps and cross-functional delivery environments.
• Knowledge of ATM domain standards such as ICAO or Eurocontrol is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support in-house development studies, design reviews and technical discussions.
• Align in-house designs with overall system architecture for coherent integration and scalability.
• Plan and support integration, verification, validation, testing activities and acceptance.
• Provide technical assessments and decision papers for stakeholders and senior management.
• Bridge supplier design expertise with CAAS objectives to ensure readiness and compliance.
• Conduct design reviews and manage interfaces across operational needs and design principles.
• Identify risks early and coordinate mitigations with suppliers and project teams.
• Maintain traceability, configuration control and change management across design and testing.
