Job summary

F5 Networks, Inc. is seeking a Principal Site Reliability Engineer to design, deploy, and operate the global platform infrastructure. You will own bare-metal provisioning, Proxmox clusters, container workloads, and CI/CD automation across a 24x7 global environment.

You will apply PCI-DSS aligned hardening and security tooling, manage Vault secrets, and coordinate with on-prem and cloud resources (AWS/Azure).

Qualifications

• 7+ years in SRE/DevOps or Infra Eng in production.
• Strong Linux systems administration including systemd, networking, storage.
• Proficiency with Ansible for large-scale CM and CI/CD integration.
• Hands-on with hypervisors (Proxmox VE, Harvester or similar).
• Experience operating on-prem Kubernetes clusters (rke2, k3s).

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and operate foundational infrastructure for a large-scale multi-datacenter platform.
• Own CI/CD pipelines and automation across regions.
• Operate Proxmox VE clusters and VM provisioning end-to-end.
• Manage on-prem and cloud components (AWS/Azure) with security controls.
• Lead incident response in a 24x7 global environment.
• Drive automation to reduce single points of failure and improve HA.
