Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent, with 3+ years in SRE/Platform/DevOps.
• Experience designing, building, and managing distributed, highly available systems.
• Proficiency with DevOps tools, CI/CD, and automation frameworks.
• Strong Linux system administration knowledge.
• Python or Golang development for microservices and tooling.
• Hands-on with DNS, virtualization, containers, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.
• Excellent collaboration and communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage production environment by monitoring availability and alerts.
• Design and deliver infrastructure solutions for service components.
• Investigate open-source and proprietary technologies to build scalable systems.
• Provide mentorship and partner with dev teams to improve services.
• Own F5 Cloud Platform components delivering complete product.
• Write clean code in Python or Golang; develop tooling for availability and performance.
• Remediate security vulnerabilities and participate in on-call rotation.
• Architect and maintain cloud platform services for consistency and scalability.
• Develop IaC pipelines with Terraform, Helm to automate provisioning.
• Collaborate with SREs, app engineers, QA to define platform requirements.
• Create self-service interfaces and documentation for developers.
• Define platform-level SLOs/SLIs with stakeholders.
• Evaluate new technologies focusing on efficiency and productivity.
