Job summary

1-Net is seeking an IT professional to support its IT services, including cloud services, managed services, data center, and BCM. You will assist in designing and deploying network and firewall solutions to meet SLAs and security standards.

You will perform maintenance, patching, change requests, monitor performance, and document configurations. Location: East or North Singapore, on-site; CCNA preferred; ITIL is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma or degree in computer or IT-related field.
• CCNA or equivalent networking certification.
• ITIL v3 or v4 preferred.
• Experience installing and configuring networking devices.
• Experience with OS: RH Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu, Windows Server.
• Cloud virtualization knowledge: AWS, VMware, Hyper-V, Azure, OpenStack.

Job description

This role is required to managed and support 1-Net’s IT Services business, including Cloud Services, Managed Services, DC services, and Business Continuity Management Services.

• Support for corporate and customer IT infrastructure and projects in delivering services according to SOP to meet prescribed SLA.

• Support in design, architect and build network and firewall deployment solutions, frameworks, automation and orchestration to secure IT System and Infrastructure.

• Deploy and Implement firewall best practices solutions to secure the data center infrastructure, system and application levels.

• Participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation of IT services.

• Performance monitoring, preventive maintenance and patch management of IT equipment to ensure optimum performance. To propose capacity upgrade or replacement when required.

• Perform daily rectification of IT operational issues and change requests within expected service level agreement.

• Management and administration of network and security infrastructure such as Routers, Switches, Firewalls, VPN, endpoint security, etc.

• Provide diagnoses, resolution, and documentation in all aspects of supporting, implementing and managing an enterprise network environment.

• Provide installation, configuration, implementation, integration and commissioning of IT solution to internal and external customers.

• Proactively source for better IT solutions or services to optimize business operational efficiency and business growth via IT solutions and process changes.

• Perform schedule maintenance routine and update records for performance analysis.

• Responsible for planning and deployment of new and existing systems for internal and external.

• Maintain process documentation and follow approved standard operation procedures (SOP).

• Participate in certification requirements for QMS/ISMS/BCMS/PCI-DSS/OSPAR, etc.

Qualification

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Computer or other IT related field of study.

• Basic network certifications such as CCNA or equivalent required.

• ITIL v3 or v4 preferred.

• Must possess demonstrated Network troubleshooting skills and experience with installation and configuration of networking devices (switches, routers, firewalls, VPN, proxy and other network appliances).

• Working experience in multiple areas like OS, databases, applications, networking devices, storage devices, firewalls, IDS/IPS, orchestration and virtualization technologies, etc.

• Must possess IT trouble shooting skills and experience with Operating Systems (RH Linux, Centos, Ubuntu, Windows Servers).

• Basic Cloud Virtualisation technology knowledge like AWS, VMWare, and Microsoft Hyper-V, Azure, OpenStack, etc.

• Basic understanding of cloud / enterprise networking and security best practices.

• Knowledge of OS/ Network security hardening.

• Excellent networking concept and Switch & routing knowledge.

• Experience in analysing security log, network & security incident.

• Possess a strong sense of urgency.

• Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
