Job summary

Dyson is seeking a Principal / Associate Principal Engineer - Requirements, Verification & Validation to own and continuously improve Dyson's requirements management and verification & validation capabilities. You will work as a subject matter expert, ensuring lifecycle processes are effective, scalable and aligned with future digital thread ambitions.

Lead governance, process standardisation and cross-functional collaboration across NPI, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory and IT.

Qualifications

Significant experience in Requirements Management, Systems Engineering, Verification & Validation or related engineering disciplines.
Experience defining, implementing or improving engineering lifecycle processes within a complex product development environment.
Strong understanding of requirements traceability, verification planning, validation methodologies and engineering governance practices.

Responsibilities

Own the strategic direction, governance and continuous improvement of Dyson's Requirements Management and Verification & Validation capabilities.
Define, maintain and govern associated processes, standards, methods and operating procedures.
Collaborate with PLM and product ownership to support digital thread capabilities and lifecycle workflows.
Build partnerships across NPI, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, RDD IT and Product Development teams.
Monitor adoption, compliance and effectiveness across Product Development.
