Job summary

A-STAR TESTING & INSPECTION (S) PTE. LTD. seeks a Principal Project Engineer CCS with deep civil and infrastructure expertise. The role requires leading project coordination across large scale works, analysing technical drawings, BIM models and EDMS data, and delivering projects from construction through handover.

Candidates should hold a PEB-recognised degree, have 15+ years in construction, and demonstrate strong communication, negotiation and leadership in complex environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in construction for large scale projects.
• Engineering degree recognised by the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore.
• Degree in the relevant field subject to acceptance by the OIC.
• Completed at least three projects through construction and handover.
• Strong background in project management and coordination for large civil/infrastructure works.
• Experience in reinforced concrete, precast, structural steelwork and composites.
• Ability to synthesise data from CDE/EDMS/Primavera P6 to identify risks.
• Interpret drawings, BIM models, and EDMS to review documents.
• Independent worker with strong team collaboration and fast-paced project handling.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong negotiation, conflict management and presentation abilities; able to prepare executive-level presentations.
