Job summary

Electronic Arts Asia Pacific PTE LTD seeks a Principal Product Designer to set the long-term vision for player and creator tools and lead as the team’s bar raiser. You will collaborate with stakeholders to shape the future of gaming and mentor other designers under the Head of Design.

In this founding role, you will drive high-trust experiences, influence executive strategy, and elevate design craft across the organization while guiding prototyping and AI integration.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional experience in product design, UX/UI, or related fields.
• Expert-level understanding of industry-wide product design trends and where creator platforms are heading.
• Proven experience leading the end-to-end design of complex digital products as an individual contributor.
• Demonstrated ability to create and deliver executive-level design presentations and pitch prototyping materials to studio leadership.
• Extensive experience collaborating with technical and product partners to bring complex features to completion.

Responsibilities

• Establish the core player/creator experience vision, anti-vision, and success criteria.
• Tackle complex cross-boundary challenges and translate creator capabilities into simple experiences.
• Guide prototyping and AI integration for high-risk/high-impact areas.
• Drive alignment across Product, Engineering and Architecture to fit design requirements.
• Represent the design perspective in executive-level discussions and trade-offs.
• Mentor peers and junior designers, drive critiques and elevate design craft.
