GLOBALFOUNDRIES SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. - FAB 7 in Woodlands, Singapore is seeking a Principal Process Engineer to lead sustaining and developing unit processes for high-volume manufacturing.

You will drive process optimization, defect reduction, and robust governance across a global, multi-site organization. We value experience in program management, cross-functional leadership, and strong communication with internal customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Min Degree in Engineering or equivalent with 6 years of relevant semiconductor process/manufacturing experience.
• Proven experience in program management within complex manufacturing or operations environments.
• Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience operating in a global, multi-site organization.
• Ability to drive structured governance, execution discipline, and executive-level communication.

Responsibilities

• The individual will be responsible for process sustenance and development that includes process variability reduction, recipe development, defectivity reduction and process optimization for high volume manufacturing (HVM).
• Collaborate with internal customers and participate in development/manufacturing of unit process for various technologies including Sustain production line, daily SPC monitoring, CpK improvement, and troubleshooting support for process and tool issues.
• Improve process robustness for high volume manufacturing using statistical tools, DOE techniques, data-driven decision making, and systematic problem-solving skills.
• Use lean manufacturing and six sigma processes.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts in support of throughput improvement, cost reduction, and yield learning.
• Train shift technicians for executing the business processes in a 24x7 HVM production environment.
• Interact and collaborate closely with multiple internal and external stakeholders and teams such as equipment suppliers, equipment engineers and technicians, CFM (contamination free manufacturing) team, PI (process integration) team, cost management and quality assurance teams.
