Job summary
CHOON HUAT ENGINEERING PTE LTD is seeking a Principal Engineer to strengthen our engineering capabilities and drive product development for sustainable power solutions in Singapore. You will lead technical performance across generators, BESS, and distribution systems, while mentoring engineers and collaborating with partners.

Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Power Engineering (or related field).
- At least 5–7 years of experience in power solutions (generators, BESS, distribution systems).
- Strong technical knowledge of power generation, storage, and distribution systems.
- Proven leadership experience guiding engineering teams.
- Practical, hands‑on problem solver with ability to balance theory and field realities.
- Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards in Singapore is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the technical performance of our existing product portfolio (generators, BESS, power cables, and distribution boards).
- Provide leadership and guidance to engineers and technicians.
- Evaluate and recommend product improvements for reliability, efficiency, and safety.
- Explore and assess new product opportunities in power solutions.
- Act as a bridge between management, engineering teams, and external partners/vendors.
- Lead feasibility studies for new product lines and pilot innovations.
