Job summary

Public Service Division in Singapore is seeking a Principal Developer, Platforms to build the core platform for OneMotoring’s intelligent Digital Shopfront. You will set engineering standards, deliver reliable production systems, and act as the team's technical backbone from design through go-live.

You will lead CI/CD, containerisation, and observability, review vendor code, apply AI capabilities, design for scale and security, and advocate for foundational technical investments to reduce debt

Qualifications

• 7+ years as a senior or principal engineer with production systems.
• Strong full-stack Python development with a modern frontend framework.
• Hands-on CI/CD, containerisation and cloud infrastructure experience.
• Experience deploying observability tools: logging, tracing, metrics.
• Experience integrating hybrid and legacy systems and APIs.
• Lead application security management in zero-trust design.
• Understanding AI deployment in production, including LLM integration.
• Commitment to technical excellence and maintainable solutions.
• Public sector or regulated environments experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build the platform core: internal tooling, middleware and shared services.
• Platform reliability lead: CI/CD, container infra, observability stack.
• Review vendor code and set engineering quality standards.
• Apply AI where it fits: production-ready prompts and pipelines.
• Design for scale and security with token management and performance.
• Champion technical investment and paydown of technical debt.
