Job summary

Seatrium seeks a Principal Engineer in Mechanical Engineering Design to support the VP of Engineering. The role involves managing engineering processes, ensuring timely design production, and enforcing QMS-aligned procedures to deliver compliant, high-quality outcomes.

The candidate should have a strong track record in mechanical engineering within marine, offshore, or renewable sectors, plus data analysis and effective communication skills for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Assist the VP (Engineering) in managing the Engineering Department.
• Monitor design production and ensure progress schedules are met.
• Review engineering responsibilities and contract implications as needed.
• Address customer complaints and drive corrective actions per QMS procedures.
• Ensure SOPs meet specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
