Job summary

Versuni in Singapore seeks a senior Electronics Engineer to lead end-to-end hardware development for domestic appliances. You will define requirements, design PCBA layouts, run tests, and create engineering documentation aligned with our development policies.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical & Electronic Engineering with at least 8 years of hands-on experience, is fluent in Mandarin for daily liaison with China suppliers, and brings strong DFSS, FMEA and EMC

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Electrical & Electronic Engineering with minimum 8 years of electronics appliance development experience.
• Mandarin language ability required to liaise with China-based suppliers on a daily basis.
• Strong knowledge of AC/DC and DC/DC power supply design.
• Able to translate design requirements into schematics, PCBA layouts, component specifications and selection.
• Proficient in Altium Designer (preferred) and other ECAD tools.
• Able to conduct tests and verify designs against requirements, including EMC testing.
• Able to apply DFSS methods and perform FMEA, de-rating and tolerance analysis for electrical designs.
• Experience in PCB layout design is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to work independently or in a team with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

• End to end product development from Advanced Development (AD) stage, Product development, Launch and Maintenance (PDLM) for domestic appliances.
• Develop an electronics hardware including requirement definition, design, implementation, testing, and documentation.
• Create products according to the specifications and electronics hardware development process.

Experience / Qualification:

• Bachelor degree or Master in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent with minimum of 8 years working experience in electronics appliance development.
• Able to communicate in Mandarin as this person needs to liaise on daily basis with China based suppliers.
