Tencent Cloud International PTE. LTD. is looking for a Principal Engineer to define data infrastructure for the AI era. You will help build data systems powering AI, bridging storage, compute, and operations, and drive architecture and production-ready solutions at scale.

The role requires strong background in distributed systems, AI data infrastructure, and collaboration with China HQ. Expect to lead architecture, mentor engineers, and deliver impactful results across platforms.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and networking.

Aufgaben

• Compute: Build distributed compute engines for data and AI workloads.
• Storage: Design storage architectures for large-scale, multimodal data with tiering and I/O optimization.
• Data & Search: Build multimodal data processing and enterprise search capabilities.
• Self-Managing Systems: Build closed-loop monitoring, anomaly detection, and automated remediation.
• Platform Architecture: Design next-generation cloud data platform for AI-native workloads.
• Research to Production: Identify open problems and apply ML/LLMs to real system problems, taking work from hypothesis to production.
