Job summary

A financial consulting firm in Singapore is looking for a Principal Consultant to lead client initiatives and relationships. The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of experience in Financial Services Consulting, with a strong background in managing large projects and diverse teams. Qualifications

As Capco continues its rapid expansion in APAC, we seek a Principal Consultant to join a key initiative with one of our clients. This individual will be responsible for building relationships, as well as overseeing the successful governance, execution and delivery of project deliverables. The successful candidate will have come from a strong consulting background, with a wealth of experience delivering initiatives such as:

  • Account Management
  • Programme Management / Office (PMO)
  • Target Operating Model Development
  • Business Case Development
  • Digital Propositions

An understanding of consulting methodologies within the financial services industry whether strategy, business case development, process mapping, lifecycle of project implementation, requirements gathering, or competitive assessment is an important factor for success in this role.

Requirement
  • At least 6 years’ relevant experience in Financial Services, with a significant portion in Consulting
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and able to traverse complex organization structures
  • Network of Financial Services clients with the ability to leverage and win business with them
  • Business and Financial acumen
  • Deep domain expertise in at least one of the following areas:
  1. Capital Markets
  2. Wealth & Asset Management / Private Bank
  3. Risk / Regulatory Compliance
  4. Investment Banking
  5. Commercial Banking
  • Strong presentation skills, extensive experience writing successful project proposals, business case development, experience planning and executing projects
  • A track record in leading large diverse teams to implement transformation and optimisation projects and initiatives within banks on regional and global basis
  • Ability to coach, mentor, attract and retain talent
  • Strong Business Analysis and Project Management background
  • Knowledge of the following methodologies / qualifications are also highly advantageous:
  1. PMP
  2. Prince2
  3. Agile
