Job summary

Xin Woon Transport Pte Ltd is seeking a skilled driver to operate Prime Mover / Trailer or Auto Ramp, delivering transport services safely and efficiently. You will coordinate daily work schedules and respond to urgent work demands including after-hours and holiday shifts.

The role requires a valid Singapore Class 4/5 licence with a clean record, 1–2 years of prime mover experience, and strong safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Valid Singapore Class 4/5 driving licence with a clean driving record.
• 1–2 years of proven driving experience operating prime movers – Trailer / Auto ramp Lowbed.
• Experience in construction or related industry transporting machinery, steel and construction materials is a plus.
• Good knowledge of Singapore roads, traffic regulations and safe driving practices.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate prime movers with trailer, and lowbed (Auto Ramp) to transport machinery, equipment, steel and construction materials to designated destinations.
• Ensure all loads are properly positioned, balanced and secured using appropriate lashing equipment, chains or straps before moving off.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, trailer, crane and loading equipment, where applicable, to ensure they are safe and roadworthy.
• Strictly comply with company safety procedures, site safety requirements, Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements, and applicable traffic laws and regulations.
• Drive defensively and responsibly at all times, taking appropriate precautions to protect pedestrians, other road users, site personnel, vehicles and transported materials.
• Immediately report any vehicle or equipment defects, unsafe conditions, accidents, near misses or incidents to the immediate supervisor.
• Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the assigned vehicle and equipment, both internally and externally.
• Ensure the vehicle and equipment are parked safely at designated locations and returned to the company premises as required.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Traffic Controller.

• Familiar with construction site safety requirements and safe loading/unloading practices.
• Able to carry out basic vehicle checks and identify and report potential vehicle safety issues.
• Prior experience in logistics, construction or delivery operations will be an advantage.
• Strong safety awareness, responsible work attitude and commitment to safe driving are essential.
