Job summary

CHUA BROS TRANSPORTATION PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a licensed truck driver to deliver containers and cargo within the city-state. You will coordinate with the transport operation team to ensure on-time, safe deliveries from Port to client premises and back to depots.

Applicants should hold a Class 4/5 Singapore Driving Licence and have relevant experience. Basic English reading/writing skills are required, with a focus on safe driving and roadworthiness checks on trucks and equipment.

Qualifications

• Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Resident status.
• Class 4/5 Singapore Driving Licence required.
• Relevant driving/transport experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver containers and cargo within Singapore with the transport operation team.
• Truck to Port and customers' premises; return or collect containers to depots.
• Drive a prime mover truck and long trailer safely and on time.
• Perform regular roadworthy checks on truck and equipment before operating.

Job Duties

Working together with transport operation team to deliver containers and cargoes within Singapore. Typically, trucking from Port to customers' premises or from customers' premises to Port and returning or collecting containers to or from various container depots.
